Golf Icon Tiger Woods came in second place at the 2018 Valspar Championship. This championship was Woods highest finish in the PGA Tour in almost five years. Although his scores are far from his history breaking records it will be enough to head to next week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational as he looks to achieve his first win since 2013.
Woods in recent years have dealt with personal and health issues that have taken his head out of the game. So, his showing in the tour is much appreciated and still proves that he is a fan favorite. The ratings for the tournament have increased since he has been back in the game.
According to ESPN senior writer Jason Sobel, Woods will win again even if he doubted him at first “Doubt him no more: Tiger Woods is going to win again.” His next win is inevitable — and I can’t wait to watch it and eat crow. I’ll be the guy with a scarlet TW on my chest.”
Seems as if Woods has the eye of the tiger again.
