Political action needs to be taken for gun control and the student activists want to make the Trump administration and lawmakers aware of the damage that has been done because of the gun laws that are in place now.  “Shame on you” was the chant of choice for the student organizers.

The Florida shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, which left 17 students and staff members dead, was the deadliest US school shooting since 2012.

Not much action has been taking by the president stating that he would “never” infringe on the right to keep arms.

In an effort to avoid the issue Trump, blamed Democrats for not passing legislation when they controlled Congress during the early years of Barack Obama’s administration.

“We are losing our lives while the adults are playing around,” Cameron Kasky, a survivor from the school said.

The march will be one of many organized across the country by student protestors.
