After her divorce with Romain Dauriac broke, actress Scarlett Johansson has still not been commenting regarding the details of her separation from her French husband.
“I will never, ever be commenting on the dissolution of my marriage,” she said. “Out of respect for my desires as a parent and out of respect for all working mums, it is with kindness that I ask other parties involved and the media to do the same.”

Putting their two-year-old daughter’s sake her top priority, the actress told the New York Post in a statement that she is a “devoted mother and private person” with “complete awareness that my daughter will one day be old enough to read the news about herself.”
Johansson filed for divorce on Tuesday and is seeking primary custody of their two-year-old daughter, Rose. Though Johansson is keeping mum, Dauriac’s lawyer Harold Mayerson spoke out on the breakup by saying his client, a French journalist, “would like to move to France with his daughter and Ms. Johansson does a lot of travelling.”
While it is true that the actress has been traveling a lot for work, the former couple initially agreed to each spend every other week with their daughter. However, Johansson later decided that she wanted to care for Rose for three days and then have Dauriac look after her for two days.
“The kid was bouncing back and forth. It can’t work because [Johansson] travels so much,” a source close to the case told The Post earlier this week. The source added that Johansson would take Rose to various set locations, like New Zealand when she was filming her movie Ghost in the Shell.
Dauriac and Johansson got married in October 2014 and had their daughter, Rose Dorothy, that same year.
