Former Bad Boys Records Rap artist Craig Mack passed away on Monday (March 12) at 46-years-old.

The Long Island rapper who burst on to stardom on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Bad Boy Records in the mid-1990s, has died at age 46, his producer confirmed to the Daily News.

Mac was a born-again Christian in his years after his rap career but before then he created one of the most memorable hip-hop songs ever “Flava in Ya Ear” in 1994.

The emcee, died of heart failure at a hospital near his Walterboro, S.C., home Monday.

“God bless my friend. He was a good friend of mine,” said Alvin Toney, who produced Mack’s debut album “Project: Funk Da World” and his “Get Down Remix.”

Toney saw his dear friend a final time last week.
