Whether it be through her soul stirring performances or her life
transforming compositions, Contemporary Gospel singer/
songwriter Latice Crawford has become a favorite in the
inspirational music realm. A cadre of fans have come to know that
the power in the Bronx, New York-native’s voice and her testimony
stem from a life story of triumphs and struggles, which she
passionately shares in her music.
Raised the daughter of a preacher, she spent much of her early
life heavily involved in the church, serving as choir director and
soloist for local ensembles. These experiences provided the
perfect training ground for the vocal powerhouse to hone her
signature sound and gripping delivery of God’s message through
Latice’s latest project, the critically acclaimed Diary of a Church
Girl, debuted at #15 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums Chart and
garnered her a Stellar Award nomination. Self-penned and nakedly
autobiographical, the project resonates with authenticity to connect
to listeners in ways that transcend traditional gospel song storylines.

Her connection with her audience and commitment to ministry that touches the whole-man extend well
beyond music. As a contributor to the Huffington Post and Essence, she expounds on a range of topics
to include mental wellness, parenting, race relations, and self-care.
She states, “It is my hope that the story and music God has given me, bring relatable journey through the
human experience and the power of going through it all with Christ. I want listeners to know that through the
ups, downs, struggles, and triumphs, there is a loving God that cares about every aspect of our lives.
