According to E! News a California judge has ruled today that Shavaughn McKenzie is not guilty on the charge of misdemeanor stalking, but the jury did find him guilty of trespassing. On Nov 11, McKenzie will be sentenced for the trespassing charge.
Kendall Jenner testified in court against McKenzie; last August 14, 2016, McKenzie was found sitting in her driveway with his head in between his knees. Jenner explained that she immediately felt something was off.
“I wouldn’t expect someone to be sitting on the side of the street. I thought it was weird…It didn’t make sense.” Jenner said.
Kendall proceeded to tell McKenzie to leave her property but realized she’d seen him on two separate occasions beforehand, both at her previous home.
“I was crying, I was screaming, I was freaking out. I didn’t know what his intentions were. I was freaking out. I was frightened for sure,” Jenner told the court.
“I never got out of my car. I was terrified. I was traumatized. I started honking at him, and I just wanted to make sure I saw wherever he went. He got out of the gate, and I drove down the hill.” She added.
Jenner concluded, “This is not how I want to be living. I don’t feel safe in my house…I’m already the kind of person who’s on edge.”
