Age is just a number for singer and actress Jennifer Lopez as she shared a fun interview about dating with Ellen DeGeneres at the Ellen Show on Tuesday.
Enjoying a game of ‘Who’d You Rather,’ J.Lo picked among One Direction singers, Nick Jonas, Zac Efron, Brad Pitt and more, where she chooses Harry Styles all the time.
The only time she dropped Styles was for Lenny Kravitz and Leonardo DiCaprio, however, Ellen still had decided Styles was J.Lo’s ultimate “boyfriend” by the end of the game.
Laughing at Ellen’s conclusion, J.Lo blurted Styles was a little bit too young for her. The singer then shrugged off the issue that she only dates younger men.
“OK, first of all, stop! I don’t date younger men. It’s not like you have to be younger. It’s not about that,” she said. “I just meet people, and then if I go out with them, I go out with them. And if I like them, I like them. And if I don’t, I don’t. It’s about the person. It’s about who they are, it has nothing to do with age.”
She figured she must have been labeled after dating Casper Smart, who is 18 years younger than her. J.Lo however confirmed that age has never been a factor when it comes to her love life.
“If there’s somebody older, they’re older. If they’re younger, they’re younger. It doesn’t matter,” she said. “It’s just whether I’m attracted to them or not—attracted to their spirit, their soul, their energy, whatever.”
On the other hand, J.Lo finally answered the much-awaited question for the day, whether she and Drake are dating.
“He sent me a song he wanted me to be on. And then I got on the song, and yeah. We have a song together. I don’t know what he’s going to do with it,” Lopez said. “We’re just hanging out.”
Ellen teased her and said she also hangs out with her friends but they did not hang out like that.
Meanwhile, J.Lo is currently focusing on performing in her Las Vegas residency. There are also rumors she will be performing at the next Super Bowl, which J.Lo said she is totally down for.
