Counting down to February 5, the city of Houston and its residents are gearing up for the much-awaited Super Bowl Li to happen at the NRG Stadium, Houston, Texas
“It’s cluttered as it is and it’s not even Super Bowl week,” said Houston resident Edson Baeza. “Next week is probably going to be mayhem left and right.”
With more people and cars filling the city as the Super Bowl date approaches, the organizers prepared solutions for possible dilemmas that would come up.
“We think it lays out really well but that said we’ve got every contingency in place to communicate we are close to capacity we can let fans know that when we’re going to back open if there is a case where we’re at capacity,” NFL Senior VP of Events Peter O’Reilly stated.
Super Bowl Live, the FREE nine-day fan festival in downtown Houston, will begin on Friday, January 27. The traffic and guests who will head into Discovery Green will be strictly monitored by security.
