Kanye has done it again for the fourth week in a row! This time around he has joined forces with the hip hop legend, Nas. The self-titled album: Nasir, marks the eleventh studio album for the artist.
It has been six years, since we received a project from the legend and needless to say, he has not lost any of his juice. Continuing, with the seven track-list pattern, West did not slack when it came to the beats either.
Mr. Jones’ timeless Queens-bridge style flow combining with Mr. West’s authentic sampling production; gives us another hard-hitting project for the summer. The black-awareness filled lyrics are needed in today’s world where WE need to be more self-lovers.
Nasir the album, is the real hip hop album that the hip hop enthusiasts have been waiting for.
From the Slick Rick samples, to the Puffy (P.Diddy) Combs vocals, or the stinging punch lines; the album is ironically a breath of fresh “New York” air.
HIP HOP is still alive and Nasir is a clear indication of such.
