“From this day forward it’s going to be only America First.”


Newly President Donald Trump emphasized in his inaugural speech, taking the oath of office as the United States 45th president on Friday, January 20, at the West Front of the United States Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.


Alongside him, Vice President Mike Pence also swore his oath that day as the 48th vice president of the United States.


Trump delivered a highly nationalistic speech to the Americans. His  speech tackled how he will fight drug and crime problems, and he also mentioned his famous catchphrase: “Make America Great Again.”


Prominent politicians, ex-presidents, and Trump’s family attended the said inauguration. Meanwhile, thousands of anti-Trump protesters protested in Washington D.C. and across America, with over 200 people reportedly arrested.
