Colin Kaepernick will now officially be a Hall of Famer at his old high school.
The former NFL quarterback will be inducted into the Hall of Fame for his high school this fall.
Pitman High School, located in Turlock, California, will induct the school’s sports Hall of Fame. Kaepernick played football, basketball and baseball at the school and graduated in 2006.
The athletic director for the school, Dave Wells, told local news outlet KCRA, “Colin was chosen, like all the others, for their contribution to the history of athletes here at Pitman. Of course, he was an outstanding athlete and a three-sport star.”
According to TMZ, Kaepernick “led his high school to its first-ever playoff win as a senior — AND was nominated as an All-State player in hoops, football and baseball that same year.”
