KHSX POWER 101.5 FM Houston, in partnership with the Al Rucker Foundation, will open its airwaves to kids this summer for a hands-on learning experience. The program, KIDS JAMZ, will be an in-studio talk show produced and hosted by kids ages 8-16.
Who We Are:
KHSX POWER 101.5 FM Houston: Houston area talk/music radio station
delivering the latest in news, entertainment, and music to the urban community.
The Al Rucker Foundation: The mission of the Al Rucker Foundation is to create
opportunities for children to learn about radio broadcasting by offering the
necessary partnerships with local radio stations to make their voices heard.
By providing the essential tools and training, the foundation aims to build a
network of informed and engaged youth reporters who will contribute to individual
and collective social change.

If your child is interested in learning about radio broadcasting media, we
encourage you to apply for our KIDS JAMZ summer internship. Interviews will take
place in May for both on-air and production crew positions.
