Kevin Cooper joined the Super Bowl Host Committee in January of 2016. Working as the Sr. Director of Media Relations, Cooper helps shape the public persona of the committee working through local and national media. Prior to becoming a part of the committee, Cooper spent 15 years in the NFL with the Houston Texans and New York Giants.
In 2004, 2007, 2010 and 2012, Cooper was part of a staff that won the Pete Rozelle Award, which is voted on by the Pro Football Writers Association recognizing the NFL’s outstanding public relations department. He attended the NFL’s Stanford School for Managers in June 2006. He has worked four AFC Championship Games with the NFL as the team liaison and eight Super Bowls in his career.
Cooper is a 2001 graduate from Syracuse University with a degree in broadcast journalism. A native Houstonian, Cooper attended Jack Yates Senior High School. Cooper reside in Pearland with his wife Allison and daughter Alexa and son Robinson.
