Front-lining with nine nominations, Beyoncé’s baby bump did not stop her from giving a spectacular show in the 59th annual Grammy Awards on February 12 at the Staples Center, Los Angeles.

With an opening monologue about motherhood from her mother, Tina Knowles, Queen Bey drifted from her usual high-tempo numbers and sang a glorious rendition of “Love Drought” and “Sandcastles” from her album “Lemonade.”

Beyoncé grabbed the Best Music Video for “Formation” and Best Urban Contemporary Album for Lemonade, giving her a grand total of 22 Grammys throughout her career.

Although Queen Bey did not win the Album of the Year award, Adele shared her victory with Beyoncé in her acceptance speech and claimed “Beyoncé is her life” and that the Lemonade album is “monumental—” leaving a tearful Queen Bey in the crowd.
