Today on Valentine’s Day Netflix releases the premiere of Chris Rock: Tamborine, the first stand-up special from the award-winning comedian in ten years.

Directed by Bo Burnham and shot at in Brooklyn, New York at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) the special will be the first of two comedy specials that have landed the comedic legend an estimated $40 million dollars with the streaming giant.

Rocks, last comedy special on HBO “Kill the Messenger” was a groundbreaking success for the network. Netflix is hoping to obtain the same numbers.
