Beyonce‘ and Jay-Z music industry’s most successful couple ever has announced dates for their “On the Run II” stadium tour. The tour will launch on Wednesday, June 6 in Cardiff, UK, stopping at 15 cities across the UK and Europe, with the 21-date North American leg beginning July 25 in Cleveland.
The tour is presented by Live Nation Global Touring in association with Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment and Jay’s Roc Nation. Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting Monday, March 19 at LiveNation.com and “all usual outlets,” according to a press release announcing the tour. On-sale dates and times vary.
The tour has been made official after much speculation due to a deleted post that was posted on Beyoncé’s Facebook and Ticketmaster pages with a single date of July 30 at Philadelphia Lincoln Financial Field that was captured in a screen shot and posted by Complex.
The power couple last toured together in 2014 for the first “On the Run” tour, supporting her self-titled 2013 album and Jay’s “Magna Carta Holy Grail.” Jay –Z released his Grammy nominated and critically acclaimed album 4:44 last year. The two also have a collaboration “Top Off” on DJ Khaled album that was officially released last week. Beyoncé’ is also on in the studio working on her new album.
