Houston Music Festival was a wonderful event, one of the title sponsors was Al Rucker of The Al Rucker Show and Midtown Bail Bonds. If you loved the 90’s this was the event for you.
The evening opened with Doug E. Fresh & Slick Rick doing what they do! Doug E. Fresh is still the King of the Beatbox! Ginuwine, still had all the ladies crowed around that stage. An emotional tribute to Prince and Michael Jackson, allowed an inside view of how much he was influenced by the pioneers. Jagged Edge, took us there with their hits, and energy on stage. But leave it up to Bobby Brown to come out and get everyone in a “My Prerogative” type of moode. Keith Sweat changed the entire show to a grown and sexy event, with a stage set up of couches and props we were transformed into his living room. And everyone was enjoying all the hits of the 90’s, well past 1:00AM
